Robert and Laura

We are Robert and Laura Nance. We have both spent many years performing professionally. We are extremely blessed to be able to write and share our original Christian music as a husband and wife duo.
The music on our new CD "Jesus Only You" includes many influences and yet is permeated with a definite "folk music" flavor.
ROBERT:
Robert's background as an instrumentalist is primarily as an electric and acoustic bassist, as well as an acoustic guitarist. He has toured in the U.S. and Europe playing styles that range from big band to improvisational jazz, pop music, Gospel and blues. Robert has recorded with numerous musical artists.
LAURA:
Laura worked in New York City as a professional actress and nightclub singer. She studied acting with Lee Strasberg at Carnegie Hall. Laura also performed in various theaters, and workshops as well as productions at the Actors Studio in New York. She traveled extensively, singing in eight languages in nightclubs and supper clubs around the world.
It is no less than miraculous that our lives have been radically changed by our acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. Together we've been involved in worship groups, leading worship as a duo, and sharing special music at churches, concert venues, coffee houses and corporate banquets from New York to California, points in between and to our present home in South Carolina.
