"Your right hand is full of righteousness." Psalm 48:10
"Your right hand is full of righteousness." Psalm 48:10
"For the LORD is righteous, He loves righteousness." Psalm 11:7
"Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is vain and your faith is also vain." 1 Corinthians 15:12-14
"God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5: 8-9
Christ died for sinners, not "righteous" people... Christ died for us when we were sinners and reconciled us to God. Now He establishes our relationship with God through His life.
"There are so many imitations of love that it is difficult to really know what true love is. Deep inside each of us, there is a yearning and a need for true love, and the world is more than happy to provide us with phony substitutes. But God has shown us what real love is. While we were still sinners, in rebellion against God, Christ died for us. We didn't deserve it, and there was nothing attractive about us. But He died for us, That is love!"
(Pastor Chuck Smith, Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa - Word for Today Bible)
"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise." Psalm 100:4
"A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say unto you that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account of it in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Matthew 12:35-37
"Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name?" Proverbs 30:4
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever." Hebrews 13:8
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom He hath chosen for His own inheritance." Psalm 33:12
"AMERICA"
"My country, 'tis of thee, Sweet land of liberty, Of thee I sing:Land where my fathers died, Land of the pilgrim's pride, From ev'ry mountain side Let freedom ring!"
"My native country, thee, Land of the noble free, Thy name I love: I love thy rocks and rills, Thy woods and templed hills; My heart with rapture thrills Like that above."
"Let music swell the breeze, And ring from all the trees Sweet freedom's song: Let mortal tongues awake, Let all that breathe partake; Let rocks their silence break, The sound prolong."
"Our fathers' God, to Thee, Author of liberty, To Thee we sing: Long may our land be bright With freedom's Holy Light; Protect us by Thy Might, Great God, our King!"

...with Thanksgiving and Praise to God for His Grace and Mercy...
"It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your Name, O Most High." Psam 92:1
"Seek the LORD while He may be found. Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return to the LORD and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon." Isaiah 55:6-7
Jesus Christ, God's sinless Son, was sent by the Father to pay the penalty for our sins by dying on the cross in our place. Blood sacrifice has always been the requirement for sin. To break even one commandment required such a sacrifice, as God is a Holy God Who created man to honor, serve and fellowship with Him. Man chose to sin. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 2:23 (We sin by doing what God has commanded us not to do or by not doing what God has told us to do.) The Good News is that Jesus paid the price for you and for me... Ask Him into your heart...Let Him be Savior of your life! If He is already your Savior but not your Lord... humble yourself, repent, draw close to Him... make Him Lord of your Life!
Hallelujah! How He Loves you and me!
"Your testimonies are wonderful; therefore my soul keeps them. The entrance of Your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. I opened my mouth and panted, for I longed for Your commandments. Look upon me and be merciful to me, as Your custom is toward those who love Your Name. Direct my steps by Your Word and let no iniquity have dominion over me. Redeem me from the oppression of man, that I may keep Your precepts. Make Your face shine upon Your servant, and teach me Your statutes. Rivers of water run down from my eyes, because men do not keep Your law." Psalm 119:129-136
We must allow the Word of God to dwell in our hearts and minds. Take the way of escape... don't let your mind dwell on the thought which is not of God.
"LORD You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God." Psalm 90:1-2
""I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." John 15:5
"He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the Name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life." 1 John 5: 12-13
God has given us the gift of eternal life through His Son. We cannot have the gift without accepting the Son. This is God's record.
"It is good to be zealous in a good thing always." Galations 4:18
"Pleasant words are like a honeycomb." Proverbs 16:24
"Bless the LORD O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name!" Psalm 103:1
"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly." Psalm 1:1
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
"Create in me a clean heart, O God." Psalm 51:10
"A merry heart does good, like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones." Proverbs 17:22
"Our bodies are amazing, the way God created and designed us. There are little laboratories in our bodies that produce various chemicals and inject them into our systems. When you are happy, your body produces chemicals that are good for you. Doctors are discovering more about this all the time, how happiness can cause your body to be healthier. Conversely, when you are sad, your body's chemistry lab produces chemicals that aren't good for you and that cause all kinds of problems. Researchers have even found that some cancers may be related to negative emotions and the breakdown of the immune system that they cause. It is interesting that today books are being written that are explaining this mind/body connection that Solomon addressed so many years ago." (Pastor Chuck Smith - Word For Today Bible - Commentary)
"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them who are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also who sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede them who are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first; Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore, comfort one another with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
You are free to choose between two masters, but you are not free to adjust the consequences of your choice. Each of the two masters pays with his own kind of currency... the currency of sin is death. That is all you can expect or hope for in life without God. Christ's currency is eternal life - new life with God that begins on earth and continues forever with God. What choice have you made?
"Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting and His truth endures to all generations." Psalm 100:4-5
"For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers; but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil." 1 Peter 3:12
Are we willing to do the things God has asked us to do? If not, maybe we are not committed to Him.
"As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God." Psalm 42:1
"The Lord bless you and keep you." Numbers 6:24
"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser." "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit." John 15:1-2
"Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you doubleminded. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up." James 4:7,8,10
"And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. And Joseph went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David. To be registered with his Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. Luke 2:1,4
"Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, the virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14
"And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:7
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder; and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it and to establish it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even forever." Isaiah 9:6-7
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3: 16,17
Jesus is all you need! (1John 2:15) As soon as we say: "I want more than Jesus" - we are in trouble. If there is no change... you probably came to Jesus for the wrong reason. We do not receive the Babe for personal gain here... our hope is the "future" He came to give us victory that we would have eternal life in Heaven. However, Blessings are here when we know Him.
"Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I brong you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people." Luke 2:8-10
Shepherds were looked down upon and usually excluded since they were not having the time for ceremonial washings etc. to go into the Temple. They were common people.
"For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men!" Luke 2: 11-14
"God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7
We must remember... when fear hits... it is not of God! In our moment of pain, weakness, anxiety... we lose perspective. Trust God!
"Fear not, for I am with thee. Be not dismayed; for I am thy God. I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness." Isaiah 41:10
"The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when you eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness." "Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness." Luke 11:34-35
It takes "Light"... the Holy Spirit for you to "see". The Spirit reveals the truths of God. When your eyes are open to the Spirit... your whole life is light.
"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalms 119:105
"Order my steps in the Word, and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Deliver me from the oppression of man; so will I keep Thy precepts. Make Thy face to shine upon thy servant, and teach me Thy statutes." Psalms 119: 133-135
"Thy Word is true from the beginning, and every one of Thy righteous ordinances endureth forever." Psalms 119:160
"Great peace have they who love Thy law, and nothing shall offend them." Psalms 119:165
The BIBLE was created structurally... anticipating hostile jamming... like a holigram. Tear out a page and you can still see the picture. The design of the Bible is reflexive and cursive. However, as with the lazer and holigram... without illumination of the Spirit... you cannot see.
"A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches. Loving favor rather than silver and gold." Proverbs 22:1
"Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved." Psalm 55:22
"Let your gentleness be known to all men." Philippians 4:5
"In quietness and confidence shall be your strength." Isaiah 30:15
"The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy." James 3:17
Peace is necessary for Joy... Righteousness is necessary for Peace. Measure whether to indulge in something by it's eternal value. Lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven.
"Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account of it in the day of judgement. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Matthew 12:36-37
(For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. Matthew 12:34) You will be held accountable for every thought... word... deed.
"Known to God from eternity are all His works." Acts 15:18
"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men, Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. But he that does wrong shall receive for the wrong which he has done, and there is no respect of persons." Colossians 3:23-25
If Christ is your Savior and Lord... the gates of hell shall not prevail against you - He holds the keys. Commit your way unto God. Trust God. You will be prone to challenge God unless you are convinced... God Loves you. (God desires the best for me... to rebel against God is to rebel against what is good for myself.) The Word of God says "In everything give thanks". God allows things and has a purpose... He is in control.
"My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise." Psalm 57:7
My heart is fixed... steadfast... my heart is quiet and confident... my focus is on You Lord. No wonder I can sing Your praises!
"Do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. And do not be drunk with wine in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Ephesians 5:17-20
"The LORD reigns; Let the earth rejoice." Psalm 97:1
"We know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28
God works out all things - not just isolated incidents... for our good. This does not mean that all that happens to us is good. Evil is prevalent in our fallen world, but God is able to turn it around for our long-range good. His promise can be claimed only by those who love God and are fitting into God's plans... called are those the Holy Spirit convinces and enables to receive Christ. Such people have a new perspective, a new mindset on life. They trust in God; not life's treasures... looking to their security in heaven, not on earth... Spirit- filled believers... have you asked Jesus into your heart? If you have, it is certain that God is working everything together for your good!
"That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings." Philippians 3:10

"The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble." Psalm 37:39
